Sidi Chiker
The Kingdom of Morocco reinstitutes the Sidi Chiker Get-togethers to celebrate the considerable role played by Moroccan Sufis in the formation of the spiritual, cultural and social identity of the Moroccan nation and the influence thereof in the world.
Specific objectives of these get-togethers
This refers to:
- Being an opportunity for meeting and interchange between Sufi advocates and the resumption of a structure-building tradition.
- Reinvigorating the fundamental character of Sufism as a component of Muslim religious identity.
